We are stoked to announce the upcoming release from Tides & Golf War.
Tides and Golf War bumped into each other at Little Wing Recording studio back in Febuary of 24’. After knowing most of the band members thru playing music, skateboarding and motorcycles over several decades it only made sense to put out a record together. With the help of long time punker Dave Disorder at A.D.D. Records, the Tides/Golf War Split 12” was born. For fans of Hot Water Music, Descendants, Avail, Strike Anywhere, and Golf…..

Saddest Girl is the first Slinky release in over 29 years. The last being in 1995, "Flight 303", a split with M Blanket from Canada.
Slinky formed at the very end of 1992 in Clearwater, Florida when Shane got the keys to a warehouse practice space for Christmas. Brothers Shane (guitar/vocals) and Jimmy Hoffman (guitar), who had already written a couple songs together, wanted to start a band so they brought in childhood friend Todd Kirby to see if he wanted to be the drummer. He would do it, but not without his
bassist Dave Myers. Todd brought Dave to the next session, everything clicked and Slinky was born.
Throughout the 1990's, Slinky shared the stage with several notable bands like AFI, Against All Authority, Avail, Doc Hopper, Face to Face, Fifteen, Horace Pinker, Hot Water Music, Lagwagon, Plow, Radon, Slap of Reality, Submission Hold, Swinging Utters, Tilt, Weston, and too many others to list. In addition to a few 7” record releases, Slinky’s music has been featured in a variety of surf movies including "What's Really Going On?" and "What's Really Going Wrong?" both by Lost Enterprises and "Voluptuous" by Snapping Turtle Productions.
Slinky toured the United States in the summer of 1995, putting 10,000 miles on “Sparky” the van, playing 25 shows over two and a half months. After the tour, Slinky played a few local shows and then took a break for many years until 2010 and 2011 when they decided to play a set of shows with Brian Lake behind the drum kit.
Fast forward to November 20, 2021 where Slinky fired things up again to play the “We Can't Help it if We’re From Florida… Even Now: A Celebration of Florida Punk Rock Flyer Art” show at the VFW #39 in St. Petersburg, Florida, this time with drummer Chad Mairn.
In 2022 Slinky recorded 2 brand new tracks at Studio B in St. Petersburg, Florida with Brian Merrill. The 2 tracks that would eventually end up on this ep in 2024. A brand new original "Saddest Girl", and a cover of "Run and Run" by Psychedelic Furs with special guest vocals by Chris Barrrows of legendary punk band the Pink Lincolns.
We are stoked to finally bring you this record. The official release date August 17th, 2024.

The pre order for Street Diamonds "scenester citizens" ep is now up. It includes digital download. The physical copies of the record ship June 27th. We have limited edition copies available in clear, and frost. Also available in classic black.
Formed in January of 2020, just in time for, well, you know. They've been practicing in a derelict, illegal pot grow house in the heart of San Francisco, in the shadow of both the freeway overpass and the pandemic. Although the songs are pessimistic, it turns out they might not have been pessimistic enough. They didn't play any shows for the first year, and even then, the first "show" was a video stream from a bar in El Cerrito where they all wore face masks due to the pandemic. Since then, they've honed their songs to razor-sharp tightness and started playing live around the bay area when the plague allows.
The band’s music is informed by the sounds of bay area punk rock from the 80's and 90's. A veteran roster comprised of ex members of J Church, Bloodbath and Beyond, Shit Creek, Ghost Knife, Vena Cava, Cruz Radical, Painted Bird, Jack Acid, Bumblescrump, Skinhead Magnet, Half Empty, and The Gods Hate Kansas. Street Diamonds members, despite their relative youth, have toured enough to have traveled to the moon and back two and a half times, if all of their tours were laid end to end.
